Just days after announcing their separation, Megan Fox has filed for divorce from Brian Austin Green. The couple met in 2004 and have been married since 2010.

Earlier this week, rumors swirled that the couple had separated six months earlier. According to People, Fox listed June 15 as the date of their separation. Fox has asked for joint physical and legal custody of their two sons.

The pair met on the set of the show Hope & Faith. They got engaged in 2006 but called it off three years later. In 2010, Green proposed again, and they tied the knot 24 days later. Two years after they got married, they welcomed son Noah Shannon; 17 months after that, they added son Bodhi Ransom to the family.

Fox cited irreconcilable differences in the divorce filing. According to People, Fox wanted to be more career-focused, while Green wanted her at home with the boys.

"She was overwhelmed with the children and her husband's expectations, which got in the way of work responsibilities," a source told the magazine. "They had many disagreements and arguments about her time at home, which led to problems."
