Mary McCormack Is Pregnant in Real Life and on In Plain Sight

Mary McCormack is expecting her third child with husband, producer Michael Morris, USA Network confirms.

McCormack's pregnancy will be written into the upcoming fourth season of her drama series, In Plain Sight, for her on-screen alter ego, Mary Shannon. Over the course of the season, viewers will see how impending motherhood will impact her job, her partner, her family and the father-to-be, who has yet to be revealed.

"The upside of being knocked up along with my character — no need for stunt boobs," McCormack said in a statement to People, which first reported the news.

McCormack, 42, and Morris are already parents to Margaret, 6, and Rose, 3. The couple has been married since 2003.

Aside from her role as WITSEC Marshall Shannon, McCormack is best known for her work on The West Wing and Murder One.
