Red Alert! A Marvel's Runaways and Cloak & Dagger Crossover Might Be on the Way!

The Runaways could be headed to New Orleans!

Crossover alert! This is (quite possibly) not a drill!

With Season 2 of Marvel's Runaways just around the corner (the series returns in December), the hearts and minds of fans everywhere have naturally found their way to that ever-present question at the heart of all Marvel projects. Where them crossovers at? Well, according to the head of Marvel TV, Jeph Loeb, a Marvel's Runaways crossover might be closer than we think!

"[Runaways] can reference the rest of the world, but it's true to teenagers -- they're not interested in what Tony Stark [Robert Downey Jr.] is doing this week or what Matt Murdock [Charlie Cox] is doing this week, but they might be interested in a couple of kids who live down in New Orleans and what's going on there," Loeb recently told ComicBook.com.

Loeb is referring, of course, to the leads characters of Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, which follows the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph), teenagers from very different backgrounds in New Orleans who acquire superpowers thanks to an oil spill accident. Marvel's Cloak & Dagger currently airs on Freeform while Runaways is on Hulu, but Marvel TV knows no bounds when it comes to crossovers and cameos.

Which Marvel TV Shows Will Incorporate Avengers: Infinity War's Ending?

Does this mean the Runaways might be running as far as New Orleans this season? Or will Los Angeles get a visit from Tandy and Tyrone? Whatever the case, if the nefariously evasive Jeph Loeb says something is up, you can bet there's some kind of iron in the fire.

The first seasons of Marvel's Runaways and Marvel's Cloak and Dagger are both currently streaming on Hulu.
