Marilyn Manson will lend his voice to Once Upon a Timein an upcoming episode, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The Goth rocker will voice the dastardly Shadow, whom we've seen help Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) steal children from other worlds. He also has a penchant for ripping out other people's shadows.

Once Upon a Time: Will Rumplestiltskin save Henry or himself?

"We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson," executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz tell Rolling Stone, which first broke the news. "We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl."

In a recent interview, the producers revealed that they'd be exploring whether a shadow can be reattached to its host. "I'm going to say we're going to see a lot more of shadows and what happens to them ripped or not ripped and how that works," Horowitz said. Added Kitsis: "And whether or not that's actually Pan's shadow we're seeing."

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8/7c on ABC.

What do you think of the casting? Is it a good fit?
