Check Out the Trailer for Mariah Carey's Christmas Movie

'Tis the season to hear Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" at least four times a day until January! But this year, Carey's yuletide ditty was put to use in the new trailer for the diva's Hallmark movie A Christmas Melody.

Carey directed and stars in the film, which Hallmark says will chronicle what happens when divorced mom Kristin (Lacey Chabert) has to shutter her Manhattan boutique and return with her daughter to live with her parents in Ohio. As if that wasn't bad enough, she then finds herself contending with her old high school nemesis Melissa (Carey) - now the president of the PTA and determined to make Kristin's already uneven life a full-blown nightmare. Yes, Gretchen Wieners from Mean Girls will now be bullied by Mariah Carey in a Christmas movie. Sign us up!

Deck the what?! The weirdest Christmas specials ever

There's not much to the trailer, save some standard Christmas-y footage (A family by the tree! A holiday musical set in a school!) but there is Mariah's character sarcastically saying "Today's your lucky day" to Kristin - a possible clue to some of the mean girl shade within. Joy to the world, indeed.
