Concertgoers in Paris certainly didn't give Madonna all their love Thursday night. Instead, they booed the Material Girl when she left the stage after a performance that lasted just 45 minutes.

What's happened to Madonna?

The sold-out concert, which was streamed on YouTube, was billed as "an intimate event" for about 2,000 fans at the Olympia club in Paris. Tickets for the performance ranged from 80 euros (about $98) to 280 euros (just shy of $350), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Madonna came out on stage at about 10:15 p.m. and the show finished at 11, according to reports. Upon realizing the concert was over and she hadn't left the stage for just a costume change, fans reportedly began booing and some demanded refunds.

The singer is currently touring in support of her album MDNA. The Paris performance was a last-minute addition to the tour that was only announced last week.

Madonna flashes swastika, breast during concert; French leader plans to sue

The tour has already been fraught with controversy. Madonna has repeatedly flashed her breasts while performing and a conservative French political party threatened to sue the singer for showing a video of leader Marine Le Pen with a swastika on her forehead during a concert in Paris.
