Madonna Is Coming to You, Sticky and Sweet | Today's News: Our Take | 5/9/2008 New
Madonna has revealed details for her 50-plus city "Sticky and Sweet" concert tour. The music starts Aug. 23, in Cardiff, Wales, and then makes the rounds in Europe before finally hitting the U.S. on Oct. 3 (at the Izod Center in the Meadowlands). Subsequent destinations include Madison Square Garden, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles, with Miami hosting the final show on Nov. 26.The on-sale date for ducats has yet to be announced. It's as though the Madge just discovered what a video sharing community is and can't get enough of it! In this message to her fans, Madonna not only encourages people to keep making videos for her "4 Minutes" single (I think she's talking to you, Miley), but she also wanted to share her domestic side with the world by Hoovering a sofa in stiletto boots. Miley & Mandy Spoof Madonna's "4 Minutes" | Today's Top Videos | 4/15/2008
In all honesty, we haven't been exceptionally impressed with the most recent installments of The Miley and Mandy Show on YouTube. But in their most recent video post, we have to give Miley Cyrus and her little friend Mandy props for choreographing (or at least participating in) an entire video set to Madonna and JT's hit song "4 Minutes." Is there trouble in the Material Girl's paradise? Not according to Madge.Despite speculation circulating in the press and blogosphere that Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are splitting up — including news from British newspaper The Sun that the marriage "hangs by a thread" — the pop star's rep said in a statement that the couple remain "happily married." The rumors stem from Ritchie's absence from Madonna's United Nations fund-raiser in February and from her recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week.
