Actress Leah Remini has left the Church of Scientology after undergoing years of "interrogations" and "thought modification," the New York Post reports.

The King of Queens and Family Tools star fell out of favor with the organization after questioning David Miscavige's leadership and challenging the policy to have members disconnect from family members on the outside, according to the Post.

"I wish to share my sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming positive response I have received from the media, my colleagues, and fans from around the world. I am truly grateful and thankful for all your support," Remini said in a statement Thursday evening.

Remini's other alleged indiscretions included questioning the whereabouts of Miscavige's wife, Shelly, at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding. Shelly Miscavige was last seen in public in 2007.

The Church of Scientology has denied all of Remini's allegations, according to the Post.
