Laura Prepon Shoots Down Rumors That She's Dating Tom Cruise

Laura Prepon is setting the record straight: Despite recent reports to the contrary, she's not dating Tom Cruise.

"It's just so funny that when people don't know, they just make stuff up, [like], apparently I'm dating Tom Cruise right now," Prepon said in an interview with SheKnows.com. "And apparently he doesn't want me doing the show because I portray a lesbian and I'm a Scientologist. This is false; where are they even getting this stuff? It's unbelievable to me."

Reports about the duo began surfacing after they were spotted sharing a meal in Los Angeles in November, but Cruise's rep quickly shot down those rumors. Cruise, 51, and the Orange Is the New Blackstar, 34, are both members of the Church of Scientology.

Cruise has not been publicly linked to any women since his 2012 divorce from Katie Holmes. Prepon dated Malcolm in the Middle's Christopher Masterson for seven years before calling it quits in 2007.
