Report: Photographer Suing Lamar Odom Over Altercation

Lamar Odom is being sued over a recent altercation with the paparazzi, TMZ.com reports.

In July, Odom reportedly lashed out at the paparazzi after they followed him into his private gated community in Los Angeles. Two photographers allegedly asked him if he had cheated on his wife, at which point a photographer claims Odom got out of his car, grabbed one of the photographers' cameras and threw it in the street.

Two months later, photographer Stefan Saad has filed a lawsuit, claiming Odom destroyed more than $15,000 worth of equipment during the assault. In the suit, Saad also places blame on the Kardashian family, stating that they believe they're above the law. Saad is seeking $565,000 in damages.

Odom's relationship with his wife of nearly four years, Khloe Kardashian, has recently been the subject of speculation following reports that Odom cheated on Kardashian and was using drugs. Days after TMZ reported that Odom had been using crack cocaine for at least two years, he reportedly went missing for more than 72 hours. Odom was arrested on suspicion of a DUI on Aug. 30, and checked into a rehabilitation center five days later. However, he checked out of rehab the following day.

Odom is due back in court on Sept. 27 for his DUI arrest.
