Lady Gaga did her best Chris Crocker impression on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night, urging the public to leave Miley Cyrus alone.

When Andy Cohen asked Gaga about MiCy's controversial VMAs performance, Gaga said, "I mean, I just think everybody needs to lighten up and leave her alone. Because it's pop music. Everybody's entitled to their own artistic expression. And if you have a problem with it, just change the channel."

Gaga, who has experienced her own fair share of criticism in the past, thinks the reaction to Cyrus has been unjust. "I don't understand the incessant need to constantly go on and on about hating things all the time because, what ,she's 20 years old?" she said. "You know, she's growing up in front of the entire world and maybe she's not so happy with the things that she did in her career when she was younger and she wants to be free, so let her do what she wants!"

While Gaga defended Cyrus' performance, she did say people should stop using the word "twerk" and warned people of the dangers of Molly, the popular drug MDMA which Cyrus namedrops in "We Can't Stop."
