Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Lady Gaga is the first returning cast member to officially sign on for American Horror Story Season 6.

The singer earned a Globe for her starring role as the Countess in the last AHS installment, Hotel, and confirmed that she will be back for more during a radio interview with Z100 New York on Friday. However, Gaga couldn't confirm whether or not she'll return as a series regular or appear in a smaller role this time around.

"I can't promise you how or when or anything like that," Gaga teased.

The one theory that may explain how American Horror Story is connected

Few other details about American Horror Story Season 6 are known. FX President John Landgraf previously let it slip that the season will be set in present day, but will heavily feature flashbacks. And creator Ryan Murphy revealed that the new season will be "very, very different" than Hotel. "Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark," he told Entertainment Weekly.

There's also the possibility that there will be double the Horror Story going forward, with one season in the fall and then another in the spring.
