Kristin Chenoweth Returns to The Good Wife After On-Set Injury

Kristin Chenoweth is back! The actress has returned to the set of The Good Wife after suffering a head injury on set last July."I was able to go back and shoot a short scene with Alan Cumming on The Good Wife. #blessing!" the actress, who was recently seen wearing a neck brace in Central Park, tweeted Friday.

Kristin Chenoweth is back! The actress has returned to the set of The Good Wifeafter suffering a head injury on set last July.
"I was able to go back and shoot a short scene with Alan Cumming on The Good Wife. #blessing!" the actress, who was recently seen wearing a neck brace in Central Park, tweeted Friday. Chenoweth also posted a photo of her and series star Josh Charles, captioned "My director today! The real deal."

It seems Chenoweth's co-stars are just as excited for the Broadway star to return to set. "Having [Kristin Chenoweth] back with us today was absolutely the highlight of my day. Her talent, charm and warmth was inspiring," Charles wrote, while Cumming called her a "bundle of light and love."The actress had been booked for a multi-episode arc to play a top political journalist who wants the inside scoop on Peter Florrick's campaign for governor. She had to leave filming the CBS drama after being struck by a lighting silk blown over by a strong gust of wind.  It's not clear if her return to set is temporary or if she intends to complete shooting the originally planned arc. Reps for series could not be reached for comment.The Good Wife returns Sunday, Sept. 30 at 9/8c on CBS.
