Kim Kardashian's Engagement Ring From Kris Humphries Sells at Auction

One reality star's trash is another person's treasure?

Kim Kardashian's engagement ring from Kris Humphries sold at a Christie's auction in New York City on Tuesday, Us Weekly reports.

The Lorraine Schwartz ring, which features a 16.21-carat center diamond and two 1.8-carat side diamonds sold for $620,000. Adding in Christie's markup, the anonymous online buyer will pay a total of $749,000 — still a big discount from the ring's initial reported $2 million price tag.

It was first reported last month that Humphries, 28, planned to sell the ring with which he proposed to Kardashian, 32, in May 2011. The couple, who split after just 72 days of marriage, finalized their divorce in May of this year.

Kardashian welcomed her first child, daughter North, in June with boyfriend Kanye West. Humphries recently appeared on The Mindy Project as himself.
