On the Emmy red carpet, I asked the stars of our favorite shows to tease the upcoming season's scenes they're most anxious for us to see. Sounds like it's going to be a fun year!

Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell, Modern Family): "We did a great scene with Nathan Lane. If that's not gay enough already, we're all wearing Oscar Wilde outfits in the scene. You know, general 18th Century garb. He's playing our old flamboyant friend Pepper who is throwing his Oscar Wilde and Crazy brunch. He was so good. It turns out he was really trying to get on the show. He loves it and was even quoting obscure lines from past episodes."

Lauren Graham (Sarah, Parenthood): "I have a date scene coming up with Billy Baldwin's slick character. He chooses me to work a booth at a convention so we have a romantic work date."

Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina, Glee): "Eric Stoltz directed an episode with Harry (Shum, Jr., Mike Chang) and me in the library together. I can't say too much, but it definitely shows the depths of their budding relationship."

Carrie Preston (Arlene, True Blood): "I'm going to have a great scene with [new waitress] Holly Cleary [Lauren Bowles] coming up.  Let's just say we're outdoors. No one is safe on our show. Everyone who comes on as a guest star fears for their life. Everyone can't stick around because our cast is too huge."

Neil Patrick Harris (Barney, How I Met Your Mother): "We have a great scene coming up with Wayne Brady and Ben Vereen around a piano. It's very funny."

Ty Burrell (Phil, Modern Family): "I have another encounter with the steps in our house, which was very fun to revisit. In the finale we made an attempt to fix them, and we're going to readdress that."

Dianna Agron (Quinn, Glee): "I have a great scene with one of the new people — it could be Chord Overstreet [new football quarterback Sam]. Would you like to see McKinley's two blondes together? It could happen."
