Keck's Exclusives First Look: A Shark Takes on a Diva

Popular Shark Tank panelist Barbara Corcoran can invest in and reject companies with ease, but how does she fare in her first acting role, playing herself on the July 7 episode of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva? "I spent five to six hours memorizing my script," she says, "and I still flubbed my lines."

Popular Shark Tankpanelist Barbara Corcoran can invest in and reject companies with ease, but how does she fare in her first acting role, playing herself on the July 7 episode of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva? "I spent five to six hours memorizing my script," she says, "and I still flubbed my lines."

Corcoran meets Stacy (April Bowlby) at a women's business conference and, after touring Stacy's "pake" (half pie/half cake) factory, puts in a bid to buy the business. "When I get a taste of her magnificent pake, I just have to have it," Corcoran says. "I'm playing a real mean version of myself. I'm sure I'm going to come off as a total bitch."

Ever the shark, Corcoran is trying to turn the fictional Pakery into a real biz. "I sent an email to Daisy Cakes [an online bakery Corcoran invested in on Shark Tank] to see if we can make pakes," says Corcoran, who warns Diva producers not to try to take even a small bite out of her potential profits. "There's no chance in hell that I'd give them a dime!"
