On Tuesday, TMZ reported that 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley will succeed Couric as Evening News anchor, but a source tells TVGuide.com that nothing's been discussed for either journalist.

Report: Katie Couric to leave CBS Evening News

Couric, the first woman to solely anchor a nightly network newscast, is expected to step down from her post when her contract expires in June to start a syndicated talk show in 2012. She told The New York Times on Monday that she and former NBC boss Jeff Zucker have been "discussing the possibilities" of a talk show.Pelley, who's worked at CBS for 21 years, was one of three names floated by The Associated Press Monday as replacement candidates, along with Harry Smith and Russ Mitchell.
