Kathy Najimy to Guest on Desperate Housewives

Kathy Najimy will play a police officer investigating an attack on Wisteria Lane on an upcoming episode of Desperate Housewives, TVGuide.com has confirmed. You know Najimy from her breakout turn as Sister Mary Patrick in the nuns-who-sing comedy Sister Act and her co-starring run on the Kirstie Alley sitcom Veronica's Closet. More recently, she's guested on Numbers, Privileged, and Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva. She's also the voice of Peggy Hill on Mike Judge's animated show King of the Hill. Desperate Housewives: Drea de Matteo on Wisteria Lane's new mystery Executive producer Marc Cherry told EW's Michael Ausiello that Najimy's character and Teri Hatcher's Susan went to the same high school, where Susan stole her boyfriend. Najimy's episode will air in October. Watch full episodes of Desperate Housewives in our Online Video Guide and follow TVGuide.com on Twitter for more breaking news and scoop
