Kanye West Rages Against Wiz Khalifa In His First Twitter Rant of 2016

But he digs Wiz's pants!

Move over Neil deGrasse Tyson and B.oB. The new rap feud du jour is Kanye West vs. Wiz Khalifa, over the title of West's new album and the real meaning of "KK."

West unleashed one of his trademark scorched-Earth rants on Twitter Wednesday after Khalifa basically said West's new title, Waves, was a blatant theft from rapper Max B. who popularized the Waves moment years ago.

West, whose album was previously titled Swish, didn't cotton to that, but he really exploded out of his leather sweatpants when Khalifa made the mistake of typing KK, which stands for Kings Kush, a strain of marijuana. West apparently mistook that as a diss to wife Kim Kardashian. He insulted Khalifa's music, his ex-wife Amber Rose ("You let a stripper trap you," West wrote of his own ex-girlfriend) and then brought Khalifa's kid into the fray. "I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years," West wrote.

West was not about to let a good Twitter rant stop him from a fashion find though, even if it's being sported by his nemesis of the moment. "I went to look at your twitter and you were wearing cool pants," West tweeted to Khalifa. "I screen grabbed those pants and sent it to my style team. #Wizwearscoolpants." A forward thinking fan has already created a Twitter account in honor of the meme-worthy statement.

West eventually deleted the bashing tweets and went sunny and roses. "This album is actually a Gospel album," he wrote, promoting good and positive energy.

The whole thing is numbing but, hey, we all now know what KK and Waves is, so hey, at least we learned something from all of this. Also, it's worth nothing that none of West's rant was in his usual ALL CAPS MANIA. Has fatherhood changed him?
