Jon Gosselin: "I Took A Lot of Abuse" From Kate

Jon Gosselin says he took "a lot of abuse" from estranged wife Kate during their 10-year marriage in his first television interview since filing for divorce.
"I took a lot of abuse from her. I was put down," Gosselin told Chris Cuomo on Good Morning America. "She'll call me like, almost like a lame fish. Like I wasn't going anywhere."

The 32-year-old, who's now dating 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, said he was often left to watch his brood of eight alone while Kate traveled for her book tours and other engagements."Well, excuse me, I'm taking care of the kids," he said. "You know, she's gone a week. You know, comes back, unpacks, repacks, does laundry, packs up and leaves again. I'm standing there like, 'Oh OK, your mom's gone again.'"Since the split, things have been less than amicable between the exes. Three weeks ago, cops were called to the Gosselin home after the couple got into a verbal argument. The patriarch and his attorney claimed Kate showed up at the Gosselin home unexpectedly during Jon's visitation period with the children.

"I wouldn't let her in the gate," Jon said. "I said, 'I'm spending time with my kids ... and she's going to have to leave and she tried to cry it up with the cops and it didn't work and they just basically said [to her], 'You have to leave.'"Jon's full GMA interview will air on Sept. 8 and 9, as well as on Primetime: Family Secrets on Sept. 8 at 10/9c.
