Gosselin said he and Glassman, 22, are now officially "boyfriend and girlfriend," according to People.
"I love Hailey," he told the magazine outside his Pennsylvania home. "I'll always love Kate. I went through a whole bunch of pictures today, and it's sad to see something that was good turn bad. But we moved in two different directions. We know that."
Gosselin, 32, said he put a lot of effort — including trying counseling — into saving his marriage of 10 years.
"For [Kate] to say she'd been working on it — well, I'd been working on it too, and at one point in time I just gave up. There's a point in time where you just say, 'This is not going to work.' So I just moved on," Gosselin said.
The octo-dad said he came to this conclusion in October 2008 and began "talking" to Glassman in May. However, Gosselin said the two did not start dating until after Kate filed for divorce because it "wasn't appropriate."
