Arrow's John Barrowman to Host ABC Celebrity Singing Competition

Arrow and Torchwood star John Barrowman has been tapped to host ABC's new singing competition Sing Your Face Off, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Barrowman will be joined by '80s singer Debbie Gibson and Saturday Night Live alum Darrell Hammond, who will serve as judges. Barrowman might sound like an odd choice to American viewers, but he has hosted several reality shows across the pond and is a seasoned song-and-dance man both on Broadway and in the West End.

On the reality series, based on the successful international format, five celebrity contestants will take on the identity of an iconic music performer each week. Contestants will include ex-Skid Row frontman (and Gilmore Girls alum!) Sebastian Bach, soap star and recent Celebrity Apprentice contestant Lisa Rinna, comedian Jon Lovitz, Disney Channel actress-singer China Anne McClain and MLB player Landry Fields.

ABC will air six episodes of the show, but a premiere date has not yet been announced.
