Joan Rivers may finally get closure: During this week's Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Rivers will finally confront the late Tonight Show host Johnny Carson... seriously.

On the episode, Rivers undergoes a battery of tests, during which her doctor finds a mysterious spot on her x-ray.  While waiting for the test results, Rivers keeps herself from worrying by tackling items on her bucket list.

Fall TV Scorecard: Renewed or canceled?

One of those tasks is finally confronting Carson, whom she viewed as a career mentor. Not only did she get one of her big breaks by doing stand-up on The Tonight Show, but she also filled in as a "permanent" guest host in the late 1980s. Unfortunately, after Fox offered her  a competing late-night talk show after 18 years of being under his tutelage, Carson reportedly interpreted this as disloyalty. Rivers claims he never spoke with her again, even though she reached out several times. Carson died in January 2005.

On Joan & Melissa, Rivers will try to address their long-standing estrangement by visiting the cemetery where Carson is buried.

But will she actually get closure when she visits his grave? Find out Saturday at 9/8c on WEtv.
