Jane Lynch, Wife Divorcing After Three Years of Marriage

Gleestar Jane Lynch and her wife Lara Embry are getting a divorce, People reports.

"Lara and I have decided to end our marriage," Lynch told People in a statement. "This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter."

The two met at a fundraiser in 2009 and got married in Massachusetts over Memorial Day weekend in 2010. Embry has one daughter, Haden, from a previous relationship.

Lynch, who performed at the Tony Awards in New York City on Sunday, is currently starring as Miss Hannigan in the Broadway production of Annie.
