Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Engaged

Sorry,Vampire Diaries fans! One of the Salvatore brothers is off the market.

Ian Somerhalder is engaged to Nikki Reed, E! News reports.

The couple has been dating for six months. In addition to adopting several pets together, including a horse and a kitten, they recently launched a production company. "Nikki and I are starting a production company and we're going to be able to tell even more stories that we really want to tell, everything from documentaries to TV shows to movies... all kinds of stuff," Somerhalder told the site earlier this month. "Having the success of a television show like [The Vampire Diaries] really allows you to be able...now I get to start spreading my creative wings as well."

The news comes just weeks after Reed, best known for her roles in the Twilight films and on The O.C., finalized her divorce from American Idol finalist Paul McDonald. They were married for three years.

Somerhalder previously dated his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev for more than three years before splitting last spring.
