A dismal second season put the nail in the coffin.
After two seasons, I Am Cait, the reality show that documented Caitlyn Jenner's life as she transitioned into womanhood, will not be returning to E!.
Jenner posted news of the ending on Twitter.
Rumors of the show's cancellation go back as far as last year after ratings for its Season 2 premiere plummeted to 745,000, down from the 2.7 million who watched the series premiere, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news likely won't derail Jenner's Hollywood career though; she's been busy with other ventures including her own line with MAC Cosmetics. Most recently, she has been tapped to join the cast of Amazon's Transparent.
