Nell Crain is coming home -- again.

Victoria Pedretti, who played Nell in Netflix's horror hit The Haunting of Hill House, is returning to the spooky anthology series for Season 2, and this time she won't be the youngest one in the house. In Haunting's second round, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Pedretti will star as a governess, Dani, who is looking after two unique children.

"Our incredible writing team is writing the new season right now," Pedretti said in a video shared to the show's official Twitter account on Friday. "I'm so excited to get going."

Bly Manor is an adaptation of Henry James' 1898 horror novella The Turn of the Screw, most of which is narrated by a governess charged with the care of two orphans on a country estate.

Other members of the cast of Hill House have previously hinted that they could return to the series in new roles. Carla Gugino, who played troubled mom Olivia Crain, didn't rule out a return to The Haunting earlier in June. Gugino is a regular collaborator with the show's creator, Mike Flanagan. And actor Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who played Nell's twin brother, Luke, previously told The Wrap that he couldn't confirm one way or the other if he'd be appearing in Bly Manor.

The Haunting of Bly Manor will premiere on Netflix in 2020.
