"It must have felt like a punch in the gut," anchor Savannah Guthrie noted."I just thought it was ridiculous," Fieri said. "The tone, the sarcasm, the question style. I think we all know what's going on here. He came in with a different agenda."To me it's impossible to come in and have a dining experience and have every single thing wrong unless you come in with a different agenda and you wanna sensationalize something and you wanna blow it out of the water," Fieri continued. "It's a great way to make a name for yourself."

But while the Food Network star thought the criticism went "overboard," he did admit there were parts of the review he agreed with. "This is an ever-changing, ever-evolving process," Fieri said of the difficulties that come with opening a new restaurant. "Do we do it perfect? No. Are we striving to do perfect? Yes. ...
