Exclusive First Look: Gotham Heads to the Circus!

Fox's Gothamcordially invites you to Haly's Circus!

In the first look clip from Monday's episode (8/7c, Fox) below, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) take a (romantic?) date to the circus to share popcorn and gaze with wonder at The Flying Graysons. However, after the trapeze artists finish their death-defying act, they are attacked by a group of angry clowns, forcing Gordon to press pause on the date and try to bring order to the mayhem. Don't you just hate when that happens?

Mega Buzz: When will we meet The Joker on Gotham?

For those of you keeping score, the Flying Graysons are the family members of future Boy Wonder Dick "Robin" Grayson. But that might not be the only character from the Batman canon introduced this week. Something about seeing all those clowns -- coupled with this and this -- make us wonder if a certain supervillain might finally make an appearance.
