Orange Is the New Black, Grey's Anatomy, Orphan Black Among GLAAD Media Awards Nominees

Orange Is the New Black, Grey's Anatomy, Orphan Black, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Modern Family are among the TV shows that scored nominations for the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards, which honor outlets that depict "outstanding images of the LGBT community." ABC leads broadcast networks with three nominations.

On the movie side, Blue Is the Warmest Color, Dallas Buyers Club, Kill Your Darlings, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and Philomena were all nominated for Outstanding Film (Wide-Release).

Grey's Anatomy and Orphan Black are nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, along with The Fosters, Pretty Little Liars and Shameless. Nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series are Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Glee, Modern Family, Orange Is the New Black, and Pivot's Please Like Me.

Days of Our Lives is the only nominee in the Outstanding Daily Drama category.

Supernatural, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Elementary and Necessary Roughness also received nominations for individual episodes.

The awards will be handed out in two ceremonies — the first in Los Angeles on April 12 and the second in New York City on May 3. Check out the full list of nominees here.
