Girl Meets World Finally Gets a Premiere Date

The highly anticipated Boy Meets World spin-off will finally hit the air this summer: Girl Meets World will premiere Friday, June 27 at 9:45/8:45c on Disney Channel following the premiere of the network's original movie Zapped, starring Zendaya.

The show will then move to its regular timeslot, Fridays at 8:30/7:30c, on July 11. 

Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga, who are raising their family in New York City. Throughout the first season, other Boy Meets World alums, including Rider Strong, will make cameos, though the show will primarily focus on the couple's daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard).
