Could George Lopez Replace Donald Trump on Celebrity Apprentice?

Actor and comedian George Lopez may be stepping into The Celebrity Apprentice's boardroom to replace Donald Trump, according to a report in Wednesday's New York Post.

Though, the Post story warns that talks for Lopez to take Trump's seat are in early stages, and that NBC is casting "a wide net" to find Trump's successor. The network is also eying Shark Tankstar Mark Cuban, Sir Richard Bransonand Martha Stewart, according to the article.

Last month NBC cut ties with Trump following his comments about Mexican immigrants, but still plans on airing The Celebrity Apprentice without him.

Meanwhile, Lopez, a Mexican-American, has asked Latinos to boycott Trump, saying that "If [Trump] wins in 2016, he won't have to worry about immigration, we'll all go back."
