Game of Thrones Power Shift: Tyrion Plays With Fire

On Sunday's epic Game of Thrones, that chant proved that Tyrion Lannister's years of cultivating his brain had paid off during the Battle of the Blackwater. Who else advanced? Who fled in fear? TVGuide.com breaks down the power shifts in "Blackwater":

Power Tripping
Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage): The Imp not only devises a plan to send wildfire to engulf and ravage a good chunk of Stannis' fleet in Blackwater Bay, but he also uses intel obtained by Varys to surprise the marauders trying to batter down the Red Keep's gate. Despite his small stature, he is the one who leads the attack when The Hound and Joffrey hotfoot it out of there and he is the one who delivers the rousing battle speech, "There are brave men knocking at our door. Let's go kill them!"
Bronn (Jerome Flynn): The sellsword is the archer who sends the flaming arrow to ignite the ships full of wildfire and also saves the life of The Hound when he's frozen by overwhelming pyrophobia.
Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner): While Cersei chooses to drown her fears in wine, Sansa steps up to calm the other women cowering in the safety of the holdfast. She may have just flowered into womanhood, but the little dove is already showing a strength and leadership under the most dire circumstances.
Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) and Loras Tyrell (Finn Jones) : They arrive just in time to defeat Stannis' forces and save the Red Keep, thus reestablishing the power of the Lannisters and their allies. How will Joffrey ever repay them?

Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman): The squire proves his mettle by taking out someone (who appears to be Ser Boros) who has just injured Tyrion.
Power Failure
Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane): After almost winning the battle, he's sent packing when Lord Tywin and his forces arrive.
Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham)? The Onion Knight suffers a serious setback after the surpise wildfire attack knocks him out and possibly takes the life of his son Matthos as well.
The Hound (Rory McCann): Joffrey's fierce dog flees with his tail between his legs after encountering the battlefield that has been set aflame by burning arrows and men. It's his biggest weakness after his older brother shoved his face in the fire as a child.
Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson): The prospect of leading the approaching battle loses its allure, and when Cersei orders the teen king back to his chambers, he only makes a half-hearted effort to object before leaving the wartime responsibilitis to Tyrion.
