Nineties nostalgia has officially hit a critical mass: A Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot is in the works with Will Smith producing, TVLine reports.

Details about the new project are scarce at the moment, although sources tell TVLine that Smith's production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is in the "very early stages" of developing a revival set in the present day, which they hope to shop around in the coming weeks. Perhaps they'll take our (very obvious) suggestion and have Jaden inherit his dad's throne?

Joining Smith as executive producers would be his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, as well as Caleeb Pinkett and James Lassiter.

Other '90s shows that need to make a comeback

The original Fresh Prince aired on NBC from 1990 to 1996. Rumors of a reboot have been circulating thanks to numerous unofficial cast reunions. The news comes amid breathless anticipation for other '90s reboots like Fuller House and The X-Files event series on Netflix and Fox, respectively.

Are you psyched for the Fresh Prince reboot? How many Aunt Vivs will this one have?
