Exclusive: Erin Torpey Returns to One Life to Live

Here's another great cancellation casting surprise! A rep for ABC's One Life to Livetells TV Guide Magazine that the wonderful Erin Torpey, who played Jessica Buchanan from 1990 to 2003, will return to the axed soap for one last appearance. Torpey won't be seen as Jessica — that role is now played by Bree Williamson — but will play a different character, which the show has asked us to keep hush-hush. (Look for Torpey to reunite in a fun, special way with one of her former co-stars!)
This isn't the first time the actress has returned to Llanview in a non-Jessica capacity. In 2008, she appeared as part of the soap's 40^th anniversary celebration as Jessica's stillborn daughter Megan who helped guide Viki (Erika Slezak) during a trip to Heaven. Torpey is scheduled to shoot her farewell scenes on Wednesday. Look for her on-air in September.
