Jane the Virgin: Eva Longoria Will Bless Us With Her Presence This Season

It's a match so perfect we're mad we didn't think of it first.

Former Telenovela actress Eva Longoria will be directing an upcoming episode of Jane the Virgin's third season which premieres Monday, Oct. 17 at 9/8c). The totally awesome news was confirmed on Thursday when Longoria tweeted a photo of the Season 3, episode 3 script.

Jane co-stars Jaime Camil and Andrea Navedo got the rumor mill started the day before with photos they posted to Instagram saying that Longoria was "checking in" to the Marbella -- the fictional hotel on the CW telenovela.

Both photos were then shared by the official Jane the Virgin Twitter account.

Longoria previously directed an episode of Devious Maidsand Telenovela.

Jane the Virgin returns for Season 3 Monday, Oct. 17 at 9/8c on The CW.
