The votes are in, we now know which shows and actors comprise the best of the best on television (at least according to the TV Academy).
At Sunday's 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, shows including Veep, Game of Thrones and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story took home some of the top prizes, with stars from Transparent, Orphan Black and Bloodline also going home with gold.

Show: Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones set a new Emmys record Sunday night, beating Frasier to officially become the Emmy-winningest series of all time. Now's a perfect time to catch up, with the show on an extended hiatus before it will return for Season 7 sometime next year.

Jeffrey Tambor's second straight win for portraying the trans character Maura Pfefferman on Transparent came just days before Season 3 premieres on Amazon. All 10 episodes of the third season will be available on Friday, while Seasons 1 and 2 are available now.

Show: American Crime
Like American Horror Story and American Crime Story, American Crime is an anthologized series which features several returning cast members, but follows different characters and plots. Its excellent second season, which aired earlier this year on ABC, focused on high school basketball players who were accused of assaulting one of their teammates. Season 3 will be set in North Carolina and will deal with labor issues.
