Ellen DeGeneres to Produce Parenthood Star Lauren Graham's Novel Into TV Series

Parenthood star Lauren Graham is turning her debut novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe, into a TV series, produced by Ellen DeGeneres' company Very Good Productions and Warner Bros. TV, Deadline reports.

In the witty New York Times bestseller, a struggling young actress feels her time is running out when she has only six months left in her three-year plan to make it in the Big Apple. And so far, she only has a gig waiting tables and two supportive roommates to show for her time. Should she give up on her dreams and go home?

Graham will write the screenplay and executive-produce alongside A Very Good Productions' DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman.
