Drop Dead Diva Will End After Sixth Season

Drop Dead Diva's upcoming sixth season will be the show's last, Lifetime announced Thursday.

The network promises that "all will be revealed" in the final season of the show, which is about a shallow model who dies in an accident and is resurrected in the body of a plus-sized attorney.

This isn't the first time Drop Dead Diva has faced cancellation, however. It was also axed after Season 4, though found new life after Lifetime and Sony Pictures Television agreed to cheaper production costs.

Guest stars who are scheduled to make appearances in the upcoming season include Rick Springfield, S. Epatha Merkerson and Corbin Bleu.

The two-hour Season 6 premiere of Drop Dead Diva airs on Sunday, March 23 at 9/8c on Lifetime. Are you sad the show is ending?
