The tenth Doctor David Tennant and his companion Billie Piper will return for Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special, BBC announced Saturday. This will be the first time either have reprised their Who roles since 2010.

John Hurt will also join Tennant, Piper, current Doctor Matt Smith and his companion Jenna-Louise Coleman in the celebration. In addition, Doctor Who: The Companions will help usher in the addition of Coleman in an all-new special featuring Smith, Tennant, John Barrowman, Arthur Darvilll and Noel Clarke.
Doctor Who airs Saturdays at 8/7c on BBC America.
