Vanilla Ice is coming back to the small screen — and this time, he'll be hanging out with the Amish. The rapper's new DIY reality series Vanilla Ice Goes Amish, in which he learns crafting from Amish people, will premiere later this year, the network announced Tuesday at Scripps' upfront presentation.

The rapper's new DIY reality series Vanilla Ice Goes Amish, in which he learns crafting from Amish people, will premiere later this year, the network announced Tuesday at Scripps' upfront presentation.
Other new series announced at the presentation include DIY's home renovation series The Rev. Run Project, starring Run DMC's Joseph "Reverend Run" Simmons, and The Daryl Hall Project, which tracks the Hall & Oates singer-songwriter as he restores a historic home.

Later this year, the Food Network will debut a slate of new competitive cooking shows, including Cutthroat Kitchen (working title) with Alton Brown and Giving You the Business, which features employees unknowingly competing for the opportunity to run their own restaurant franchise.
Celebrity Apprentice and Rock of Love star Bret Michaels will also return to the small screen in the new Travel Channel series Rock My RV with Bret Michaels, which debuts next month.
