The first teaser for the sequel to the 2015 Disney Channel Original movie has arrived and a new villain descendant is coming to Auradon Prep. The ominous cackle of Uma (China Anne McClain), the daughter of The Little Mermaid's Ursula, can be heard as she traps the original Descendants -- Maleficent's daughter, Mal (Dove Cameron); the Evil Queen's daughter, Evie (Sofia Carson); the son of Jafar, Jay (Booboo Stewart); and Carlos (Cameron Boyce), the son of Cruella de Vil -- in a bubble.
Desecndants 2 is a Go with a Little Mermaid twist
Uma isn't the only new face arriving at Auradon Prep in the new film. The kids of Captain Hook and Beauty and the Beast's Gaston will also appear to up the evil ante. Are Mal and her friends, and the other students, up for the challenge?
You'll have to wait until 2017 when the movie premieres on the Disney Channel to find out.
