That is, if the CW series gets renewed for Season 4
DC's Legends of Tomorrow is once again expanding its team.
John Constantine (Matt Ryan) has been upgraded to series regular, TV Guide has learned. That is, if the show gets picked up for a fourth season. Legends, which will wrap up Season 3 on Monday, April 9, has not officially been renewed for Season 4 but we're remaining hopeful about receiving new episodes given the good news.
Constantine first appeared in the Arrowverse during Arrow's fourth season to help save Sara's (Caity Lotz) soul. He then resurfaced on Legends back in February to assist with a tricky exorcism and stuck around for a few episodes. Now, it looks like the chainsmoking detective could be staying for good, pending a renewal announcement.
Here's When Supernatural, The Flash and More CW Shows End Their Seasons
Constantine's promotion would be a welcome addition to the show after major casting shakeups saw Victor Garber, Franz Drameh and Wentworth Miller all exit this season, and The Flash's Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) board the Waverider full-time on Monday, Feb. 19.
If all goes according to plan, the Legends could finally get the stability they need with the addition of this new crew member.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow continues Mondays at 8/7c on the CW.
