Dancing with the Stars: Athletes has added another Olympian to the ranks. Softball player Jennie Finch is also reportedly joining the season. ET Online first reported the news that Finch has been chased by producers by the shows for several seasons, but it's finally time for her to go for the Mirror Ball trophy.

"They've actually been wanting her on the show for years!" the site's source said. "Finally it's working out and everyone is very excited. She's great on camera and very competitive. She will be the one to beat."

Finch helped Team USA score a softball gold medal in 2004 and silver in 2008.

Dancing with the Stars: Everything We Know About Season 26

The next season of the dancing competition show will have only athletes squaring off in a shortened four week competition. Finch's casting comes just days after reports circulated that Tonya Harding, Adam Rippon and Jamie Anderson would also be strapping on their dancing shoes. That brings the Olympian total up to four, so Finch has her work cut out for her.

The official casting lineup for Dancing with the Stars: Athletes will be revealed on Good Morning Americaon Friday, April 13.

Dancing with the Stars returns April 30 at 8/7c on ABC.
