The network has closed a deal for a Veronica Mars spin-off for its digital platform, CW Seed. The project is still in the idea stages, however, so no stories or possible names involved have been solidified. "Rob [Thomas] and I talked last night," CW President Mark Pedowitz said at Wednesday's Television Critics Association winter TV previews. "He's very excited to do something for CW Seed."

Flash's standalone pilot:
"I'm very bullish on the show," Pedowitz said. "We felt that rather than try to squeeze in a spin-off, let's make it bigger"
DC Universes won't collide: Although Fox is creating a Batman origin story with Gotham, there won't be any issues withArrow or The Flash because they're taking place during different times and universes.

Supernatural lives:
Don't prepare to say goodbye to the Winchesters just yet. "As long as I'm here and those numbers still hold, God bless them, it can go on as long as they want," Pedowitz said.
Summer offerings: Whose Line Is It Anyway?will air from March 21 through the summer, along with another season of America's Next Top Model, the Canadian sperm-donor comedy Seed and two magic series.
Dorothy is still lost: So far, there's been no script for the Oz project, Dorothy Must Die.
