Lauren Graham is returning to The CW.

The network has given a script deal to the adaptation of the Parenthood star's New York Times bestselling novel Someday, Someday, Maybe, TVGuide.com has learned.

Fall TV: Hot scoop on 40 shows!

The one-hour drama — which will also reunite Graham with Warner Bros. TV, which produced Gilmore Girls— centers on a young woman with six months left on her three-year plan to make a career as an actress in New York City.

Graham will write and executive-produce the project alongside A Very Good Production's Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman.
