Fox has given a pilot order to Courteney Cox's new comedy, Charity Case, TVLine reports.

Cox stars as Hailey, a woman who inherits her late billionaire husband's charity and quickly finds that changing the world is far less glamorous than she had imagined.

Former Office writer-producer Robert Padnick will write the single-camera comedy, with James Griffiths directing. Padnick, Griffiths and Cox will all executive-produce.

Cox isn't the only Friends star with a project in the works. CBS has ordered a Matt LeBlanc comedy pilot I'm Not Your Friend, David Schwimmer has signed on to star in AMC's drama Feed the Beast and Matthew Perry currently stars in CBS' The Odd Couple.
