Matt LeBlanc has signed on to star on I'm Not Your Friend, a new CBS comedy written by That '70s Show scribes Jeff and Jackie Filgo, Deadline reports. In addition, legendary comedy director James Burrows - who will be honored by LeBlanc and his Friends co-stars, as well as other comedy casts, in an NBC special later this month - is on board to direct.

I'm Not Your Friend follows a contractor (LeBlanc) who navigates the difficulties of parenthood when his wife goes back to work.

According to Deadline, CBS has ordered a pilot of the show and has given a 13-episode series commitment to LeBlanc, who is also executive-producing.

The deal all but confirms that the upcoming fifth season of LeBlanc's Showtime series, Episodes, will be its last, as was suggested by Showtime executive Gary Levine at the Television Critics Association winter previews last month. The Friendsalum also recentlyannounced that he will be a co-host on BBC America's Top Gear.
