Tour Producer: Charlie Sheen's Quotes Are "Like Muhammad Ali"

A producer for Charlie Sheen's Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option tour is revealing details about the upcoming event. Joey Scoleri says the 21-date tour will feature monologues that will range from "hysterically funny to dark to very thought provoking," E! reports. Sheen won't be using professional writers, however, instead relying on whatever comes to mind (as the actor has done for his Web series Sheen's Korner).

A producer for Charlie Sheen's Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option tour is revealing details about the upcoming event.

Joey Scoleri says the 21-date tour will feature monologues that will range from "hysterically funny to dark to very thought provoking," E! reports. Howard Stern: I admire Charlie Sheen

"I don't think it's a script, as much as he is going to riff like an artist," Scoleri says. "He will probably do most of it from memory, he's that talented."

Scoleri, who's a senior vice president for Live Nation, predicts that since Sheen is "the funniest guy in America right now" and knows how to shock and provoke, "you're going to laugh. His quotes are like Muhammad Ali in his prime."

The show will include some audience participation and multimedia elements, too, including video and fan-generated content.

"He is a truth seeker, that's his thing," Scoleri says. "He's not a liar, I actually consider him the most honest man in America. Now, you may not agree with what you see, but he is being honest."

John Stamos: I Don't Want to Replace Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men

Now that Sheen is no longer in the employ of CBS' Two and a Half Men, the tour could be an important source of income. Scoleri doesn't reveal the exact numbers, but more tickets will go on sale soon to meet the reportedly growing demand.

"The interest level is insanely high. I think as long as you're prepared to go on a wild ride of highs and lows and dark and light and laughter and being surprised, I don't think you are going to be disappointed."
