Central Perk Opening in NYC for Friends' 20th Anniversary

Could we be any happier? A Central Perk pop-up shop is opening in NYC to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Friends premiere.

Fans will be able to enjoy free cups of Eight O' Clock coffee, including a limited-edition Central Perk roast, in a fully functional replica of Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe's favorite hangout. Located at 199 Lafayette Street in Manhattan, the pop-up shop will open onWednesday, Sept. 17 and remain in business through Saturday, Oct. 18. (Hours: Mondays-Fridays from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturdays-Sundays from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.)

And it wouldn't be Central Perk without Gunther. Actor James Michael Tylerwill make special appearances at the beloved coffee shop. And to really complete the atmosphere, the Central Perk replica will even feature  Phoebe-esque, in-store performances. (Fingers crossed for a "Sticky Shoe" cover!)

In addition to these special events, patrons can also check out signature props from the NBC sitcom, hang out on the iconic couch, purchase Friendsmerchandise and win prizes. including all 10 seasons on Blu-ray and DVD.
